MINEDUC Launches Ordinary and Advanced level National Examinations for 2022-2023
Kigali, July 25,2023 — Today, an air of excitement and anticipation filled the Examination centers of Groupe Scolaire Kigali as the Ordinary and Advanced Level National Examinations for the School Year 2022-2023 were officially launched. This momentous occasion was made possible through the combined efforts of Charles KARAKYE, the Permanent Secretary of MINEDUC, Vice Mayor of Kigali City, the Director General of NESA, and other esteemed officials.
A total of 212,399 candidates are set to embark on their educational journey, among which 96,249 are male and 116,150 are female. This reflects the commitment of the nation to providing equal opportunities for all, empowering both young men and women to pursue their academic dreams.
Speaking at the launch event, Charles KARAKYE, the Permanent Secretary of MINEDUC, emphasized the significance of the National Examinations in shaping students' educational journeys. He lauded the candidates for their hard work and encouraged them to showcase their knowledge and skills during the examination process.
The Vice Mayor of Kigali City, in Charge of Urbanisation and Infrastructure, Dr. Mpabwanamaguru Merardand and the Director General of NESA Dr. Bernard Bahati, also extended their best wishes to all students, expressing confidence in their abilities to excel in the examinations.
